With many years’ experience working in education, our team has a thorough understanding of school governance and a passion for improving school outcomes. Â
Before joining One Education, Rob had an extensive career in local authority service management and delivery, followed by a number of years as a programme and change management professional. As Head of Governor Services, Rob provides advice, guidance and support to head teachers and chairs across the region, and has managed the successful delivery of a new free school through application and pre-opening stages.
Frances works with maintained schools, academies and Trust Boards. She works as the Lead Clerk on a full time basis, which involves clerking, providing guidance and a considerable amount of organisation. Frances was a governor at a primary school for 8 years and served as Vice Chair and Chair.
Jane joined our Governor Support Team as a Governing Body Clerk in 2016, with more than 12 years experience in a similar role. As a Governing Body Clerk, Jane supports Heads, Chairs and Governors by attending Governing Body and Committee meetings, taking minutes, and providing sound advice and guidance.
Amy has worked previously in education as a Primary School teacher but following a sabbatical from work to focus on her young children, decided upon a career move towards school governance. Amy has now been working at One Education as a Governance Clerk since 2020, offering support to a wide variety of settings in and around Manchester. Amy is passionate about education, particularly SEN education and has now become a governor herself at two schools locally.
John previously worked for the Ministry of Justice, where he was a Governance Officer responsible for administering the Government Procurement Card Scheme for public sector prisons. John joined One Education from AQA, where he worked as an Admin Lead overseeing the summer exam season.
Liz began her working life teaching English in schools in France. She then moved into International Marketing for corporate companies and educational institutes for 25 years, before setting up her own company. Liz has now worked as a Governing Body Clerk for 3 years, working with 9 local schools. She loves working with One Education, the Governance team and the amazing school staff and Governors that do such an essential role for our communities.
