· Understand the Statutory Framework: Develop a clear grasp of the EYFS Framework, the Characteristics of effective learning and how it underpins daily practice in Early     Years settings.

· Explore Learning and Development Requirements: Understand the seven areas of learning in EYFS and how to support individual children’s needs.

· Overview of Assessment: Gain insights into assessment strategies and how they enhance children’s learning journeys, alongside exploring the ELGS and the EYFS Profile.

· Consider Transition into Y1: Understand how the information and practice in EYFS can support the journey into Y1.

· Further learning and resources: This course will also provide you with information of how to further develop your understanding of the EYFS and provide resources to do  so.
