One Education are delighted to be offering free termly network meetings and CPD sessions specifically for music coordinators and music leads in SEND schools and Alternative Provisions.

We will be hosting the meetings each term and for the Autumn Term, we have invited Trinity College London. Recently, Trinity College London have launched Awards and Certificates in Musical Development (ACMD), an assessment framework based upon Sounds of Intent.

Open to all learners but initially designed for students within the SEND sector, from those with profound learning difficulties to those on the autism spectrum with advanced musicianship skills, the ACMD qualifications enable everyone to have their musical achievements and progress formally recognised.

We will be sharing more information about ACMD at this meeting as well as keeping music leads up to date with musical developments in the SEND sector.
