Conflict between staff members can have a huge impact on performance, morale, outcomes for pupils and can lead to significant management and leadership time being spent on managing and resolving the issues. Therefore, being able to quickly identify and address performance and behaviour concerns, including bullying and/or harassment is crucial.
This course is for Senior Leaders (both teaching and support staff) to be able to confidently and effectively manage difficult and challenging conflict between staff members. We will focus on reinforcing the vision of SLT and expectations along with practical guidance on effective communication, conduct and performance management.
The course will be delivered by one of our trained mediators who will share effective strategies to use when supporting and managing staff conflict and expert guidance on managing staff complaints and grievances as a result of conflict.
