Manchester City Council’s Attendance Conference 2025, in partnership with One Education, brings together professionals from educational settings, statutory partners and national leaders and experts in Pupil Attendance.
The conference will provide delegates with the opportunity to hear from a range of services on the statutory attendance guidance, “Working Together to Improve School Attendance” and how they can support schools in embedding robust strategies to support school attendance.
Delegates will hear from The Children’s Commissioner, Dame Rachel de Souza, on ‘The Big Ambition’. Dame de Souza will share feedback from children on what they have told her about their education and attendance, as well as the work that has been undertaken with Greater Manchester’s Local Attendance Action Alliance.
Through attending workshops and hearing from highly regarded keynote speakers, delegates will leave with a thorough awareness of the latest attendance guidance and will be equipped with knowledge and resources available to support attendance across their whole school community.
