On Thursday, 3rd March, we had a wonderful evening at the Manchester Art Gallery celebrating One Education’s 10th Anniversary. We enjoyed lots of great food and fabulous performances from the Manchester Youth String Orchestra and the magician Sam Fitton. It was lovely to see so many of our friends from partner organisations and schools – thank you to everyone who came to mark the special occasion with us. We hope you enjoyed it just as much as we did.
It is hard to believe that One Education was formed just over ten years ago back in 2011. Starting with a vision to help the pupils and schools of Manchester, we now offer support throughout the whole North West and across the UK. We have even emerged onto the international stage with our participation in the World Education Summit and various other projects, such as sponsoring children to climb Kilimanjaro and our classroom-teaching research with China. With our sights always set on new frontiers, we cannot wait to see where the next ten years will take us.
So much of what we have achieved is owed to the hard work and dedication of our team members at One Education. It is thanks to their efforts that we have earned the trust of over 800 schools; developed high calibre conferences in Literacy and Safeguarding, and pioneered new quality marks and award schemes. In the face of the pandemic, it was their resilience that kept us going, continuing our services and even providing additional support. We are lucky to work alongside colleagues who are so passionate about their work and always strive to do their best for the schools and children we serve.
Of course, we would be nowhere today without the support of our partners and clients. One Education thrives from all your insight and inspiration. It has been a privilege to work alongside you over the last ten years, and we hope there are many more to come.
Whilst One Education has come so far since we first began over a decade ago, our core mission remains the same as it was then: to support schools to deliver the quality education that every child deserves. That is why, even as we grow and adapt to changes throughout the sector, children remain at the centre of everything we do.
