Understanding Harassment and the Employers Obligation for Schools
From 26 October 2024 all employers will be required to proactively prevent Sexual Harassment of employees whilst they are at work by taking reasonable preventative actions. This training will explain what the new rules are and what school leaders need to do in order to understand and comply with the new legislation. We will also discuss the existing framework relating to Harassment generally under the Equality Act and provide best practice advice on how to prevent harassment from occurring in the educational establishment.
