Flying Start Rays of Sunshine Training

What is this Training? 

• 3 hour in-person training sessions on our Rays of Sunshine Training. This training will provide you with the knowledge, skills and confidence to design and deliver therapeutic play activities in small group sessions in your school to support the SEMH needs of your EY/KS1 pupils. This revised training includes exploring different resources for pre and post measures of the impact of the intervention.
• 1x half day follow up per school. A personalised follow up session to help you plan and deliver this intervention in your setting.

Who is organising these sessions?

• The training will be facilitated by One Education’s Educational Psychology team.
• The follow up sessions will be delivered by an Assistant Educational Psychologist, under supervision of Educational Psychologists.

When and where is the training? 

•  The training will be on Thursday 10th October, 9am – 12pm, at Blackley Golf Club, Victoria Ave E, Middleton, Manchester M9 7HW. The follow-up session dates will be organised as part of the above training dates. To access the follow on sessions, you need to attend the virtual training (dates TBC).

Additional Educational Psychology support available during autumn term: 

• Rays of sunshine virtual drop in session – one each half term, dates TBC.
• Bookable Early Years EP virtual group consultation – one each half term, dates TBC.
