Rachel is an employment solicitor and CIPD HR professional. She has represented schools, academies, local authorities and governing bodies in risk management, employment tribunals and other litigation, exit strategies and succession planning. She has vast experience in assisting school leaders.
Laura is a Senior HR Manager in the HR and People team and is a qualified solicitor. As an employment law specialist for over 30 years, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to team. Laura has worked exclusively with schools and academies in all aspects of HR since 2009. She has particular expertise in equality law issues and leads the HR equality group.
Jade is a HR Manager at One Education. She has a Masters in Human Resource Management and is a qualified CIPD member. Jade has extensive experience in supporting school leaders with complex employee relation matters including restructures, disciplinary and grievance matters. Jade specialises in Leadership Pay and Teachers Pay and Conditions and she also leads on our bespoke Action for Wellbeing Support Package and Excellence for Wellbeing Award Scheme.
Keren works for the HR, Payroll and Governance teams as the business manager, organising and promoting the HR & People training programme on a termly basis. Keren has a background in finance and is a qualified AAT Accounting Technician.
Katie is a HR Manager at One Education and has extensive HR experience within the Education Sector, supporting school leaders with complex employee relation matters at all levels. Katie is an accredited Safer Recruitment Trainer and she specialises in supporting leaders with safeguarding matters related to employees. Katie is a trained specialist in Job Evaluation for Green Book Support Staff.
Kirsty is a HR Manager at One Education and a fully qualified Human Resources professional and Associate member of the CIPD. She has extensive HR experience across the public sector, which includes the NHS, Local Authority, Education and Higher Education. Kirsty has specialised experience in generalised HR, organisational development and change, which includes leading on whole school staffing restructures. She is also a trained specialist in Job Evaluation.
Paula has a vast amount of HR experience, including over 15 years for the Education Service. During this time Paula worked as a HR Business Partner acquiring extensive knowledge and understanding of supporting organisational change including TUPE.
Carly is an experienced Employment Law Solicitor and currently serves as a school governor at a primary school, a role which brings relevance to her HR role at One Education. Carly enjoys working to identify and implement practical and effective solutions to HR problems and delivering training and has expertise in GDPR.
Katie is Level 7 CIPD qualified and has joined us with over 18 years’ experience working in HR with 14 years of this being spent across the NHS and Education Sector. Katie has extensive experience of generalist HR and has dealt with a range of complex disciplinary and absence cases. She has dealt with school leaders at all levels and prides herself on her sensible, empathetic and above all fair approach. Katie currently serves as a governor at a primary school.
Laura is a highly qualified Human Resources professional with a history of working within the business sector; she has also spent a number of years running her own HR Consultancy where she worked with both nurseries and early years education providers. Her varied background means she has a wealth of experience with all manner of HR cases. Laura is adept at quickly understanding the needs of school leaders and how best to approach any given situation. She prides herself on offering sensible, pragmatic and empathetic advice.
Yusra is a qualified Human Resources professional with experience across a variety of sectors including Education. Yusra has held a number of roles in the independent sector followed by working as a HR professional in national multi academy trust. She has experience dealing with ER issues such as disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, and supporting organisational change including TUPE.
Sally is an associate member of the CIPD with 20 years’ experience of HR in education and also serves as an academy trustee for an expanding multi-academy trust. Sally has broad experience of employee relations, dealing with complex case work including discipline and grievance and preparing for tribunals. As a HR generalist, Sally has led on teacher recruitment, absence management also has a keen interest in employee well-being and management coaching.
Anne is a qualified Associate member of the CIPD. Prior to joining One Education she worked as a Cluster HR Manager for a large Multi Academy Trust. Anne has wide ranging experience in employee relations and schools' HR issues. She has supported schools in a number of complex HR cases which includes supporting leaders with preparations for Employment Tribunal cases. Anne is passionate about mental health and wellbeing having previously set up successful staff wellbeing programmes in schools.
Clare has over 20 years’ experience working in education and local government. She has designed and delivered training in many areas, including Staff Conduct, Aces & Trauma and Supporting Vulnerable Young People. Clare is IPD qualified and prides herself on her pragmatic, empathetic and diplomatic nature. Passionate about wellbeing, she is a Mental Health First Aid England Instructor specialising in Youth Mental Health. As a Foundation Governor, Clare has a rich understanding of school leadership and governance.
Farah is a qualified HR professional with a MSc in Human resource management, CIPD Level 7 accreditation, and CMI Level 5 award in management coaching and mentoring. She brings with her a wealth of experience, having previously worked in a variety of sectors. She is passionate about building strong working relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders, and has previously led and supported on a variety of people related topics and complex cases.
Sabah is a qualified Associate member of the CIPD. Sabah has significant experience working in the education sector, working in two high schools across different local authorities; offering her a unique understanding of the needs of both pupils and staff along with other stakeholders in her role of special needs TA. She also gained experience of the HR processes in schools.
